A new photographic and community archival project by Abbie Jennings, documenting music fandom worldwide.

Want to get involved?

Are you a self-confessed super fan of a certain band or artist? Do you queue up ahead of concerts to get a good spot? Do you collect merchandise or souvenirs from shows? Want your stories to be heard?

If this sounds like you, let's chat! Although I'm based in the UK, I'm currently looking for project participants worldwide. Whether you want to arrange a photo shoot with a group of fans ahead of a concert or submit your stories digitally, I'm keen to hear from music fans of any genre to create a digital archive and help continue the project.

Please note, by submitting you are consenting to your stories being shared online and for possible exhibition.

Could you help fund the project?

Fan Culture is currently a self-funded passion project, which stems from 20 years of attending concerts and a lifetime of being a music fan. Having been involved in the live music community as a photographer for over 7 years, I have met and connected with thousands of fans along the way, who have inspired the foundations of this project. This is a project by a music fan, for music fans.

In order to develop Fan Culture into a large-scale and wide-reaching project, I am seeking sponsorship/match funding. If you or your organisation are interested in supporting the project, please don't hesitate to get in touch: abbie@abbiejennings.co.uk
