DYCP - Photographer to Photography Curator

I am super excited to share that I’ve been awarded a Developing Your Creative Practice grant from Arts Council England!

The funding is going to help me expand my creative practice and freelance offering as a Photography Curator through a series of research and development over the next 10 months. It will include a series of research trips to dedicated photography galleries and exhibitions, an international trip to Unseen photography festival in Amsterdam to research new photography trends and curatorial techniques, specialist mentoring, and work experience. Funding will also allow me time and space to broaden my networks in Hull and surrounding areas to ultimately work on more projects locally in my home city. 

DYCP is an extremely competitive source of funding and I feel incredibly lucky to have been successful. It’s going to be a real game changer for me and my practice, I can’t wait to get started!
